How does Qynetic APC (Automatic Process Control) work?
Qynetic APC is designed as a closed loop: manufacture, measure, analyse, calculate, validate, compensate, verify. Adjustments are computed by validated engineering algorithms and checked by a deterministic guardian before anything reaches a machine.
Status: planned. Qynetic is in early development. This page describes the intended design; capabilities marked as planned are not yet generally available.
What problem does it address?
Manual offset correction is slow and varies between operators, while unconstrained automation is unsafe. Manufacturers need correction that is fast but bounded by authorised limits.
How does it work?
- AI may reason about a situation; it never directly controls physical machinery.
- A validated algorithm computes a candidate adjustment, a simulation checks its effect, and a policy guardian evaluates it against authorised limits.
- Anything outside authorised limits requires explicit human approval; hard limits cannot be overridden by approval.
- Execution is performed by deterministic control close to the machine, and results are verified afterwards.
What does it connect to?
CNC machine controls, Measurement systems, Qynetic Edge. Connections are made through vendor-neutral connectors; see integrations.
