What is Qynetic Factory Director?
Factory Director is the orchestration layer of Qynetic. It coordinates specialised agents for quality, process control, tooling, CIM, OEE, planning and maintenance, and presents prioritised, evidence-backed recommendations about the whole factory.
Status: foundation in progress. Qynetic is in early development. This page describes the intended design; capabilities marked as planned are not yet generally available.
What problem does it address?
Important problems are spread across separate systems. People have to search dashboards to find what matters; cross-domain causes such as tool wear driving dimensional drift are easy to miss.
How does it work?
- Specialised agents each analyse their own domain against shared manufacturing context.
- Every recommendation carries evidence, a confidence value and a reference to the underlying data.
- Factory Director de-duplicates and prioritises recommendations across agents.
- Agents recommend; they never command machinery. Physical actions pass through a deterministic safety pipeline.
